April was… AP-REAL for us

If we had to sum up last month in one word, it would probably be this: AP-REAL. For the simple reason that, for months, we have been planting seeds and now we are seeing the first signs of a garden- the one that’s started to bloom.

There’s a strange little moment every growing brand waits for. The moment when the conversations you’ve been trying to start begin echoing back from the world around you. A huge kudos to our entire team for making it happen.

That being said, we still have a mountain to climb and a lot of work to do! As big multinationals keep working on integrating AI into tasks, Maxme is rowing its boat against the tide- by integrating human skills and bringing the “human” factor back into those very jobs. Because have you ever heard of a machine truly running on its own? Neither have we.

But, if April proved anything to us, it’s this: the conversation is shifting; it’s happening!

So, what actually happened in AP-REAL?

Quite a lot, actually.

There were masterclasses, partnerships and events!

The month began with a partnership with AetherMind. The idea behind Maxme partnering with  AetherMind is that we do see a gap between knowledge and real-world readiness in schools, universities, to be precise. Maxme brings along a globally accredited, university-backed ecosystem, and AetherMind will focus on future-ready education and scale to expand access to human skill development.

This was followed by Maxme’s Head – Sales & Marketing, Dr Nilanjan Mukherji,  attending the UK–India Business Conclave, organised by the PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industry, where he interacted with Ms Jennifer Kaul, Investment Counsellor, British High Commission. He also had the opportunity to introduce himself, Maxme and its offerings to Mr Ben Mellor, Deputy High Commissioner from the British High Commission.

These exchanges with industry and policy leaders inspire us to think bigger and continue building solutions that truly matter.

The month wrapped up on a strong note with Maxme’s Masterclass:

From Champions to Champion Teams: Outperformance in the Age of AI, where Renata Sguario, Founder & CEO, Maxme, along with Shaun Cameron, Director – Talent, Culture, Sustainability & Strategy, Cat Heffernan, Head of Enterprise Change, and Elisa Nerone, Chief People & Sustainability Officer, came together to explore a few key points:

  • Why individual excellence doesn’t automatically translate into team performance

  • What high-performing teams actually look like in practice

  • The human skills that enable trust, alignment and productive challenge

  • How leaders can unlock the strengths of diverse teams

  • Real lessons from building and leading teams through complexity and change

  • What it takes to create sustained behaviour change, not just short-term improvement

“May” we never run out of bold ideas

Now that May is here, so is our determination to keep building, expanding and growing our presence in India. We know there’s still a long road ahead. But every conversation, collaboration, enquiry and partnership reminds us that this movement is bigger than us.

To everyone who has supported Maxme, worked with us, believed in us or simply paused long enough to ask, “What exactly do you do?” thank you.

Because maybe, just maybe, the future is finally beginning to realise that being human might end up being our greatest skill after all.
