Maxme India - 2025 in Review

2025 turned out to be a bit of a main-character year for Maxme India. What began as a mission to build human skills across professionals, students, educators and healthcare practitioners grew into a larger movement - (The good kind. No placards involved). While we strolled through the length and breath of the country conducting workshops, partnering with institutions and mulling over new ideas to make ‘human skills’ cool again, there was one truth that was all-pervasive, that, was no matter how much AI tries to ‘steal’ our jobs or create panic on LinkedIn, those with skills such as critical thinking, communication, empathy, emotional intelligence will remain irreplaceable.

Witnessing this realisation unfold across conversations, classrooms, and corridors made our hearts full. We now know that we are already halfway there. When belief begins to take root, helping people recognise the value of what they already possess becomes not just easier, but inevitable.

The late-night thoughts.

Once we were done with our homework and recco sessions, which often lasted till midnight, we had a realisation. Indian schools are doing a terrific job - no small feat. The Indian education system is renowned worldwide for its quality. But then comes the interview or that moment when someone leans in and says, “So… can you explain this?”

Suddenly, the syllabus steps aside and another set of skills is called upon stage- Judgment, Presence of mind, Resilience and the Ability to Articulate a thought clearly, without buffering. We are building a generation proficient in ‘exactly’ that.

Our key engagements

Keeping that in mind, in 2025, Maxme actively engaged with leading schools and universities across India. We partnered with institutions like DPS Gurgaon, BGS International Academia School Bangalore, GD Goenka, Pragyan School, and Suncity School, NCR.

Another highlight for Maxme was participation at DIDAC 2025, Asia’s largest education-focused exhibition, where our engagement with institutions, educators, and partners remained successful. This momentum continued with our participation in a national seminar on engineering education at Gati Shakti Vishwavidyalaya, where Nilanjan Mukherji, Head of Sales & Marketing, spoke at length on how building skills in ethical foresight preempts challenges before they arise.

A session on self-awareness with students and faculty at Kings Cornerstone International College brought our belief, “Success is Human,” to life.

A report that made us even more hellbent

We stumbled upon Michael Page’s India’s Most In-Demand Skills in 2025 and paused at a line that felt way too familiar: “It’s a paradox we hear time and time again – employers can’t find skills, but don’t invest in training either.” So we decided to take charge and start bridging these gaps.

MOUs & partnerships kept us going

2025 also marked critical strategic collaborations. From MOUs with Ramaiah University of Applied Sciences for their Ramaiah Academy, to collaboration with iSPACE to complement advanced technical education with structured human skills development, it was a meaningful year.

Workshops were another 2025 favourite. Maxme popped up across campuses like Dhirubhai Ambani University & Nirma University, Ahmedabad; Integral University & SRM University, Lucknow and many others. Packed rooms, curious questions, honest conversations, and a handful of students realising that soft skills are not actually “soft” at all.

Training and demos

The year saw extensive demos and training programs across institutions and organisations. A key moment was our CEO and Founder, Renata Sguario’s visit to India, including faculty-focused training at Malla Reddy University, Hyderabad, where educators were equipped with frameworks to embed human skills into learning environments. In fact, during this trip, she realised that there’s an “incredible appetite for human skills” in India, which has only made us more resolute in our mission.

Roadmap 2026: Expecting human skills to FINALLY take the ‘front row’ seat

They say good things take time, but 2025 was an exception, especially for us at Maxme. While we were confident that whatever our vision is will finally be understood by the people we are catering to, that ‘finally’ didn't take too long to arrive.

As Maxme moves into 2026, we aim to strengthen PAN India delivery through expanded trainer bandwidth, deeper institutional partnerships, and clearly defined territories. Alongside this, Maxme India is increasingly supporting international programs, servicing global markets from India. As boundaries expand, one belief remains unchanged: in the age of AI, human skills are not optional; they remain essential.
