The challenge

Why did you come to Maxme, and how did you hear about its products/programs?

“We heard about Maxme through our industry network. After reviewing various options for soft skills training, Maxme's point of difference was its balance of face-to-face training supported by self guided online learning (Hodie app). This stood out as the best fit for our needs.”

What challenges were you seeking to proactively mitigate through this Maxme human skills program?

“We had a great group of skilled mid-level team members that were on the cusp of taking on leadership roles. Whilst they were technically proficient architects and designers, we noticed a gap when it came to the soft skills required to effectively lead teams, communicate with clients, and drive projects to success.

Building strong client relationships is crucial in our industry. Our employees need to excel not only in their technical roles, but in their ability to engage with clients, understand their needs, and provide exceptional service.”

How would you describe the human skills proficiency of your people before they started the Maxme program?

“Before our employees started the Maxme program, their human skills proficiency varied across the board. Some individuals had strong interpersonal and communication skills, while others were less adept in these areas.

Overall, our mid-level employees had a good foundation of technical skills but lacked confidence and proficiency in leadership, communication, conflict resolution, and resilience.

Our Maxme Emerging Leaders program was designed to bridge these skill gaps and enhance the human skills proficiency of our people, enabling them to take the next step in their careers and address the challenges identified.”

The process

Closely reviewing CHT’s brief, Maxme matched its Lead & Succeed program - a comprehensive 9 week course equipping individuals with the foremost skills required for personal and leadership excellence today, and into the future.

To optimise team connections and utilisation of CHT’s space, Maxme delivered workshops face-to-face at a fortnightly cadence from the client’s office. Maxme also customised the experience to ensure program learning engagement activities used CHT’s internal platform MS Teams.

Communicating key timelines and program deliverables well in advance, Maxme managed all onboarding for the client lead and participants.

The human skills education and training delivered to CHT spanned 9 learning modules over 9 weeks, through 4 workshops, virtual engagement activities and self-paced learning on Maxme’s Hodie app.

The feedback

“The program structure was great. Content was broken down enough that it maintained your focus and kept us all engaged. It was a fantastic way to learn, and most of all, it was fun!”

“I’ve learned so much about myself and this has drastically improved my confidence in a professional sense, not to mention outside of work!”

“I'm most proud of the amount of content I've been able to absorb through doing this program. With taking in the information your team has provided, it has enabled me to dive deeper into the ‘why?’.”

I feel more confident about how I can apply my strengths to get the best out of myself.

I feel better equipped to have effective conversations with team members, peers and managers.

The overall program experience was engaging (i.e. structure of learning, facilitated sessions, Hodie app, leaderboard, weekly emails).
